Pakistan have become only the third country in the world to appear in 1,000 One-day International matches when they beat Australia at Rawalpindi on May 30. They joined the elite company of Australia and India.
Currently, India are holding the record of playing the most ODIs. They have played 1075 matches, followed by Australia (1020).
At the end of the three-match ODI series against Australia, which Pakistan won 2-1, their tally went up to 1002. Out of them, Pakistan have won 528 matches and lost 442 while nine matches were tied and 21 provided no result.
