Pakistan defeated their arch rivals India by a huge margin of 191 runs in the final of the Under-19 Asia Cup 2025 at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Sunday, December 21.
They have now become the new ACC Men’s U-19 Asia Cup champions after producing a dominant allround display to humiliate India.
First, they amassed a formidable 347 for eight in their allotted 50 overs, courtesy of a record-breaking innings by Sameer Minhas. He smashed 172 off 113 balls hitting 17 fours and nine sixes. This was the highest individual score in a U-19 Asia Cup final.
He was ably supported by Ahmed Hussain (56) and Usman Khan (35).
In reply, India’s innings lasted just 26.2 overs and they were bundled out for a mere 156 as pacer Ali Raza devastated their batting line with remarkable figures of four for 42.
The margin of victory was the largest in a U-19 Asia Cup final.
